Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Wis., told Newsmax on Friday that Democrats are “buying time” by delaying a vote on Kash Patel, President Donald Trump’s nominee to lead the FBI, in order to “get something salacious” on him.
Senate Democrats on the Judiciary Committee on Thursday requested a delay of one week and for the panel to hold a second hearing on Patel’s nomination, accusing him of making “false statements” during his first appearance.
Tiffany, appearing on “Wake Up America,” on Friday that Democrats are “buying time” by delaying movement on Patel’s nomination.
