Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz on Thursday night on Newsmax praised President Donald Trump for his plans for Gaza, saying that is good to see him and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “open to new ideas [and] looking for a way to bring about peace,” including by resettling Palestinians out of the Gaza Strip.
“It’s complex, but let’s at least thank Donald Trump for coming up with the first new idea in many, many years about how to solve this problem,” Dershowitz told Newsmax’s “The Greg Kelly Show.”
Earlier this week, Trump suggested that Gaza’s Palestinians be “permanently” resettled outside the territory and that the United States take “ownership” in redeveloping the war-torn region.
