(KMJ) – Prosecutors have charged a former Fresno State walk-on football player after he allegedly made threats on a social media post.

The threat was made on the messaging site “Yik Yak” back on November 2nd. It laid out details of a shooting that was to take place on campus at Fresno State that day at 3 p.m.

Within three hours of students reporting the post, 18-year old walk-on football player Christian Pryor was taken into custody.

Monday, Fresno County prosecutors charged Pryor with one felony count of making a criminal threat. He was released on $20,000 bail. He is due back in court Tuesday for his arraignment.

If convicted, the 18-year old from Los Angeles could face up to three years in prison.
