Longtime Fresno radio D.J. Laurie West has passed away.
Sources tell KMJ news that she died in her sleep Thursday on the Central Coast where she had been residing recently.
West had been a part of the Fresno and Central Valley broadcasting community for several years.
A onetime winner of Fresno Magazine’s “DJ of the Year”, West was best known for her on-air days at KKDJ.
West had been dealing with health problems recently but the cause of death has not been determined.
