Fresno County Sheriff’s homicide detectives are asking the public for help to gain information about a murder that occurred 10 years ago. Anthony Renovato, (above) 26, of Fresno was found dead on July 15, 2005. Renovato went by the nickname of “Boink.” Detectives have put many investigative hours into this case and are eager to bring closure to Renovato’s family. On the night of July 13th, 2005, Anthony Renovato had hung out with friends at the former Porky’s restaurant located at the corner of First and Barstow Ave. in Fresno. Renovato left the restaurant with a group of people and went to the home of Ernie Salinas, located on South Barton Ave. in the Calwa area. Renovato stayed at the home until the early morning hours of July 14th. Sometime during his stay there, Renovato got into disturbance with several people at the home. On July 15th, Renovato’s body was found burned in the area of Lincoln and Maple Avenues. Detectives later discovered that he had been murdered prior to being burned.
Detectives have identified the following people as being at the home during the time of the aforementioned disturbance, but no arrests have been made. Their current ages are listed next to their names.

- Christina Sotelo, 34 (BOTTOM FAR RIGHT)
