(KMJ) – The Fresno City Council on Thursday honored Pacific Coast League and Triple-A National Champion Fresno Grizzlies.
Council members held a special ceremony at the beginning of its weekly city council meeting.
The Grizzlies (Houston Astros AAA) defeated Round Rock in five games to win the PCL title and then followed it with a one game, 7-0, victory over Columbus to snag its first AAA National Championship.
