Very soon, you won’t have to jog in the dark on the Clovis Old Town Trail.
Mark Keppler, the Chairman from the Clovis Community Foundation, says they just purchased new lights and will soon be installing them.
The Foundation donated $9,000 for the new lights – costing just over $3,000 a piece.
The lights will go in between Gettysburg and Santa Ana and expand in both directions, and Keppler says it will help to keep vandals away.
More in the works – artistic bike racks says Steve White, the City’s Engineer.
“We have something similar in front of our pet adoption, it looks like a Great Dane bike rack., and we have another in Peach/Alluvial Park – it looks like a bicycle. We’ll put these in place, 3-4 bike racks, so you can run, bike and everything you have with you will be safely stored and won’t walk away from you.” – Steve White, City of Clovis Engineer.
Lights and racks – to serve the three quarters of a million people annually who use the Clovis Old Town Trail.
