President-elect Donald Trump is accusing President Joe Biden’s Justice Department of pressuring Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to bring the “lawless” case of falsifying business records in which he was convicted.
Trump’s broadside was a shift from his longstanding criticism of Bragg over the case.
“D.A. Alvin Bragg never wanted to bring this lawless case against me,” Trump wrote Sunday on Truth Social. “He was furious at the way it was handled, and especially angry at MARK POMERANTZ for his behavior, and what he did.”
