FRESNO, CA (KMJ) A suspected international drug smuggler is behind bars in the Fresno County lockup after he was caught transporting a whopping 44 lbs of cocaine.
The CHP made the bust during a traffic stop Wednesday on I-5 near Shields Ave.
The drugs have an estimated street value of $1.6 million.
The suspect has been identified as 29 year old Ga Hyung Choi of British Columbia, Canada.
This is the second large cocaine bust on I-5 in the valley in recent weeks.
