Police ID Man Shot, Killed While Riding His Bicycle in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) – The Fresno Police Department has identified a man, who died after being shot while riding his bicycle in Central Fresno on Sunday.

The victim was 40-year-old Ricardo Martinez Olguin.

The Fresno Police Department responded to Floradora Avenue between Rowell and Barton just after 4:00 a.m.

Police say they received a three-round shot spotter alert.

Officers found Olguin lying beside his bicycle in the roadway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

He was conscious when officers arrived, and informed them he had been shot by someone he didn’t know, who was on a bicycle.

Olguin was taken to CRMC, where he died from his injuries.

Police are searching for a suspect and motive for the shooting.
