FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — A one-year-old has died following a crash in Fresno County.
A 28-year-old woman from Sacramento says she fell asleep at the wheel on Interstate 5 and Lassen Avenue Thursday morning.
She drove off the road and crashed into a tree at I-5 and the Coalinga/ Avenal Cutoff.

ony Botti, Spokesperson with the Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office, said the child was Amante Williams. “He was 3 days shy of turning 2 years old. Unknown city of residence. He was traveling through after leaving the Sacramento area.”
A three-year-old sustained minor injuries and the driver had major injuries.
They were both taken to the hospital.
