REEDLEY, Calif. (KFSN) – A man has been hospitalized following a shooting in Reedley.
Reedley Police were called to a neighborhood at Pecan and Cypress Avenues.
Our News Partner ABC 30 reports it was at about 10:30 pm.
Officers found the 24-year-old victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
Officials believe this shooting may have been gang-related.
Chief Garza of the Reedley Police Department stated, “We are committed to ensuring
the safety of all our residents. This type of violence has no place in our community. We
are making every effort to apprehend those responsible and are asking for the public’s
assistance in providing any information that may lead to their capture.”
Police haven’t identified any suspects but are investigating a possible connection to an earlier sighting of someone armed with a gun near Springfield and East Avenues.
