FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — Authorities are continuing to search for the driver involved in a hit-and-run in central Fresno.
It happened at about 1 am Saturday near the Highways 41 and 180 transition.
That’s where a person driving a Land Rover south of Highway 41 drove off the road and into an encampment, killing 49-year-old Ervin Price of Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol initially arrested a woman for DUI who they believed was the driver.
They later learned she was actually the passenger and was released.
Authorities say they’re still searching for the actual driver
