SANGER, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — A 10-year-old boy died after an accident in Sanger on Thursday.
He has been identified by the Fresno County Coroner as Jameson Doyle.
The crash happened at about 7 pm outside Rotary Ball Park on Bethel and Cherry avenues, where baseball practice was taking place.
Sanger Police say the boy collided with the truck along the busy roadway and also likely hit his head on the ground during the fall.
Doyle was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he died.
Officers say an 18-year-old was driving the truck and stayed at the scene.
Police are still investigating the incident.
