FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — Police have identified the victim killed in an alleged DUI crash in northwest Fresno.
It happened shortly after 10 pm Monday on Polk and Fairmont.
Officials say 53-year-old Michelle Cruz was riding a bicycle in the area when she was struck by an SUV.
First responders tried to revive her, but she died at the scene.
Police arrested the driver, 31-year-old Jennifer Fleishman, on suspicion of DUI.
Court records show she has a history of traffic violations, including speeding and DUI.
