UPDATE: Fresno County Sheriff – Coroner’s Office releases the victims identities as Nicholas Stiles, 37, of Friant, and Lisa Johnson, 34, of Friant.
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMJ/KFSN) — A man and a woman are dead after an RV caught on fire in Fresno County.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 5 a.m. on Saturday at the Friant Trailer Park near Millerton Lake.
Both deputies and CalFire firefighters responded to the call. Two bodies were found after firefighters put out the fire.
No identities have been confirmed but Fresno County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Francis Devins says the bodies recovered may have been a man’s and a woman’s.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
CalFire reportedly found a space heater inside the trailer.
