FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Central California Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals/Fresno County Humane Society (CCSPCA) is now booking appointments for services to begin seeing patients at the newly renovated low-cost clinic.
The state-of-the-art facility is the answer to a large problem in our area. Where can owners get low-cost medical and spay/neuter services? The answer will now be CCSPCA!

The clinic will immediately begin offering the following services :
- Low-cost spay/neuters
- Low-cost vaccinations
- Wellness/preventative care
- Microchipping
- Lab services
- Nail trims
“Renovating our existing animal hospital and turning it into something that will directly impact our pet overpopulation problem has been a dream of the CCSPCA management and Board of Directors for years.”
“Cost should not be the sole reason someone is unable to care for their pet and we couldn’t be more proud to offer a solution.”
-Linda Van Kirk, CCSPCA executive director
The building started out as a shuttered animal hospital. It was fully gutted and rebuilt from the ground up using state-of-the-art technology and designed with fear-free colors.
Over the years, CCSPCA has continually applied for grants in order to offer free spays and neuters to pet owners in the community. Earlier this year 40 free spay/neuters were given away to celebrate World Spay Day, and the response was completely overwhelming, which just shows how badly the community needs services like this.
Appointments can be booked by calling (559) 237-1150 Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
