Alleged Drive-By Shooter Arrested in the South Valley

(KMJ) – The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office arrests a man for allegedly committing multiple drive-by shootings near the city of Tulare.

Here are the details, as released by the Sheriff’s Office:

Around 6 p.m. Sunday, Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the area of Road 56 and Ave 256 in Tulare for someone shooting from a dark colored SUV.

When Deputies arrived, they learned the home had been hit by gunfire. About an hour later, Deputies received another report of a shooting involving the same vehicle in the area of Road 48 and Ave 230. Deputies responded to the second location and learned a a car at that home had also been hit by gunfire.

About 20 minutes later, Deputies saw a dark colored SUV at Road 48 and Ave 232. As they approached the vehicle, Deputies saw the driver firing a rifle out of the window at a nearby party.

Deputies ordered the suspect out of the vehicle. He complied and was arrested without incident. As a result, a .22 caliber rifle was seized as evidence. Thankfully, no one was injured.
