PORTERVILLE, CA (KMJ) – Porterville Police are searching for the suspect who they say shot a man several times.
Porterville police say officers were called to a scene near Westfield and Prospect just after 9:30 Tuesday morning.
Police says they found a man who had been shot several times.
He was rushed to Sierra View Medical Center in serious condition.
Schools in the area were locked-down until officers cleared the scene.
The Porterville Police Department says anyone who witnessed this shooting or has information on the suspect should call them at 559-782-7400.
