While some people have indicated that they may want to wait for the single does vaccine, Joe Prado, the Division Manager with the Fresno County Health Dept. says get vaccinated now.

“What we don’t want people to do is decide not to vaccinated because its ‘not available to me,’ said Prado. ”All three vaccines are safe and effective so get vaccinated now, and if you’re thinking about ‘Well, I’ll wait until after the holiday,’ get vaccinated now.

In just two weeks, Californians 15 and older can get their vaccinations.

Prado says they’re ramping up and that “all those mass vaccination sites will be up and running fully.” He continued, “We’re going to see where we can add some mobile vaccination sites in addition to that.”

Prado says go to the state’s my turn-dot-ca-dot-gov and make your appt now.
