BUTTONWILLOW, CA (KMJ) — Foul play is suspected after a body is discovered Tuesday morning in Buttonwillow.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said the man who was found dead in the orchards in the area of Corn Camp Road and Highway 58 has been identified and determined to be someone who had been reported missing.
Around 8:00 a.m., Tuesday morning, the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a dead body in an orchard.
When deputies arrived, they discovered a deceased male.
Homicide detectives are now investigating what they consider a suspicious death.
