Man Shot to Death in Fresno Parking Lot

A man died after he was shot multiple times outside an apartment complex in Southeast Fresno Monday night.

Police heard multiple gunshots around 10:45 p.m. in the area of Argyle and Beck Avenues, near Kings Canyon and Clovis.

When they got there they found 33-year-old Marcello Pinkney of Fresno suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Pinkney was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives were at the location throughout the night looking for clues.

A motive for the shooting has not been determined.

Homicide Detectives learned several people were in the parking lot at the time of the shooting but left the area prior to officers got there.
