Tulare County Sheriff’s Canine Sniffs Out Major Meth Bust

(KMJ) – The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office sends kudos to one of its canine deputies after he makes a major drug find during a recent traffic stop.

On June 4th, K9 “Tex” and his partner were called in after Deputies made a stop on Highway 99 near Cartmill Avenue due to a traffic violation.  After searching the vehicle, Tex located 20 pounds of methamphetamine that was hidden inside it.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office seized the drugs and arrested 40-year-old Miguel Bustos Mata and 33-year-old Rosa Montenegro.
