PORTERVILLE, CA (KMJ) – A Porterville man is arrested for allegedly molesting children at his daycare center.
Porterville Police released a statement that 58-year-old Jose Luis Cortez Caballero was arrested Monday morning after an investigation that started in December 2019.
Police said for the past 22 years, Caballero and his wife ran the licensed daycare provider Caballero Family Child Care.
Further investigation by police supported the allegations.
Police have confirmed one female juvenile victim and have identified several witnesses to the assaults.
Caballero was booked into the custody by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
