MADERA, Calif. (KMJ) — Two people were airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center following a house fire in Madera County Thursday morning.
The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
Madera County Fire was called to the house at Avenue 8 and Road 29 1/2 near Eastin Arcola Elementary School around 6:00 a.m.
When fire crews got to the house they say it was fully engulfed and called for more.
A total of six trucks worked to put the fire out but were not able to save the house.
Investigators still don’t know what started the fire.
The house is a total loss.
There were no other people in the home.
