(KMJ) – Speaker Nancy Pelosi lead House Democratic leadership this morning as they announced formal charges of impeachment against President Donald Trump.
House Intelligence Committee Chair Jerry Nadler then followed with the formal details of the two charges being brought against the President. They accuse him of abusing power and obstructing Congress. And they make him only the third U.S. president in history to face impeachment.
The full House of Representatives is now expected to vote on these articles of impeachment next week.
