
A transport van carrying more than 25 dogs was stolen in Fremont, California and found several hours later.

It happened sometime between 11:00 p.m. Sunday to 3:00 a.m. Monday.
The van was found Monday morning.
D&J’s Pet Transport, a pet transportation service, stated that the van they use to transport dogs was stolen and that many of the dogs were picked up from Fresno Furry Friends, a nonprofit rescue.

The Oakland Police Department says officers saw the stolen van driving around and pulled over the van.
The man driving the stolen van was arrested and many dogs were found inside, police say.
Police are still working with the owner of the van to count and find all the stolen dogs.
