(KMJ) – A former Kingsburg resident has been charged with the murder of his baby daughter.
Jose David Cerna was arrested October 30th by Long Beach Police after Kingsburg detectives issued a warrant
Back in June of 2008, Kingsburg police began investigating after Cerna’s 6-week-old daughter died at Valley Children’s Hospital from head injuries.
There were no charges initially filed, but the Fresno County District Attorney re-evaluated the case a few years ago.
Cerna has now been booked into the Fresno county jail on murder charges.
