FRESNO, CA (KMJ) -This holiday weekend is a great time to find new furry family member says the CCSPCA.
Many animals in the Central Valley are in need of a home, and the Central California SPCA wants you to adopt from their animal shelter so they are offering an incentive.
CCSPCA is holding an adoption special in honor of Labor Day weekend.
Adoption fees are as follows: $120 for all dogs and puppies and $60 for cats and kittens.
The promotion runs from Saturday, August 31, to Monday, September 2, 2019, at CCSPCA’s Adoption Center and all local off-site adoption locations:
• August 31 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.): PetSmart Shaw/Valentine, PetSmart Herndon/Willow, Petco Friant, Pet Supplies Plus Clovis, and Petco Madera
• September 1 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.): PetSmart Herndon/Willow, Petco Friant, Pet Supplies Plus Clovis, and Petco Madera
• September 2 (8 a.m. to 12 p.m.): Central Labor Council’s Pancake Breakfast at the Fresno Fairgrounds
Each adoption includes a spay or neuter, Fresno city dog license (if applicable), vaccinations (DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella), single dose of de-wormer for roundworms, single topical dose of flea/tick preventative, free exam from a participating veterinary clinic, and microchip.
Members of the public can view adoptable dogs and cats online ccspca.com or at the Adoption Center (103 S. Hughes Ave., Fresno CA 93706).
CCSPCA is open 7 days/week from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays).
