Arrest Made in Stabbing Death of Former Cal State Fullerton Administrator

 

 

 

UPDATE: 51 year old Chuyen Vo from Huntington Beach is in custody, arrested Tuesday. Vo is believed to have stabbed 57-year-old Chan in his car on the campus parking lot. The motive was not known, but the policedid believe that his assailant had targeted the victim.

LOS ANGELES, CA (KMJ) – Police in Southern California have made an arrest has been made in connection with the stabbing death of a former Cal State Fullerton Administrator.

Campus Police say 57-year-old Steven Shek Keung Chan was killed Monday in his car on the campus parking lot.

An incendiary device as well as zip ties and disguises were discovered beneath the victim’s car.

Surveillance video showed the suspect running near the crime scene and leaving a parking lot in a black 4-door sedan with black wheels and dark tinted windows believed to be a newer model BMW X6.

The DA says charges haven’t been filed yet but that could happen in 1-3 days.

Police plan to release more details in a press conference Thursday
