TULARE, CA (KMJ) – A 2-year-old girl drowns in a pool in Tulare.
Tulare Police first received a call about the child being missing at about 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the call quickly changed when the person on the phone frantically told them the child was just found in the pool.
Officers were on scene within minutes and found that the girl was not breathing.
They immediately began life saving measures -CPR – until paramedics arrived.
The girl was transported to Adventist Health Tulare Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Tulare Police are investigating the incident but say they do not suspect foul play or negligence.
