FRESNO (KMJ) – Democratic presidential hopefuls will be in San Francisco this weekend for an annual convention of the state party as it faces a #metoo firestorm.
Sen. Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are among the 14 candidates coming to court party faithful.
This weekend’s party convention in San Francisco is a major draw for activists who want to to interact with presidential hopefuls.
But they’ll be sharing the spotlight with an election for a new party chair.
The party will vote to replace Eric Bauman, who resigned in November amid allegations he drank on the job and sexually harassed and abused staff. Bauman denies the allegations.
