MADERA,CA (KMJ) -Madera Police have now identified the vehicle they believe hit and killed a man and fled the scene.
The deadly hit and run took place at the intersection of “D” St. and Cleveland Ave. back on May 12th.
The victim has been identified as 69 year old Rutilio Reyes, who lived in the area.
After striking Reyes the vehicle fled the scene west on Cleveland Ave.
Madera Police are now looking for a newer model Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra, dark metallic blue / grey in color.
They are asking anyone with information regarding the suspect or suspect vehicle to call Detective Rosel at, 675-4243 or Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP.
