UPDATE: The TCSO SWAT Robot located 49-year-old Ramiro Garcia inside his home, unarmed. He was taken into custody without incident.
He’s facing charges of Felony Criminal Threats and Committing a Crime While Out on Bail on a Previous Crime .
TULARE, CA (KMJ) – A man barricaded himself inside of house in Tulare County.
About a dozen Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputies, as well as Tribute 1, reposnded in the area of Ave 404 and Mueller Rd in Cutler, where a man threatened to kill his neighbor with a knife and then barricaded himself inside his home.
TCSO Deputies are still trying to negotiate with the man who barricaded himself inside his home but he was not responding.
Deputies cut his power and were trying to coordinate another method of establishing communication with the suspect.
Cutler Elementary School is about two-blocks away from the incident.
The school was notified earlier as a precaution and parents were called to come walk their children home or pick them up.
