BREAKING: SUSPECTED NEWMAN COP KILLER CAPTURED

(KMJ) Multiple sources are reporting the illegal immigrant suspected of gunning down a north valley police officer has been captured in Kern County.

Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department will hold a press conference at 12pm to update the public on the investigation.  Kern County Sheriff Donny Youngblood will hold a 1pm news conference.

The suspect was reportedly caught Friday morning in the small Kern County town of Lamont, south of Bakersfield.  The suspect was wanted in connection with shooting and killing Newman, CA Cpl. Ronil Singh, 33, during a Wednesday morning traffic stop.  Singh, a legal immigrant from Fiji, leaves behind a wife and infant son.
