JOSE RAMIREZ TEAMS WITH KMJ 580/105.9 TO HELP THE FAMILY OF GAVIN GLADDING
WBC World Champion Jose Ramirez is coming off a stirring victory at The Save Mart Center. Now, the Avenal native and 2012 Olympian is stepping up to raise funds for the Gladding family in their time of need.
Gavin Gladding, a beloved Clovis Unified educator, was tragically killed Sunday while jogging in a hit and run crash that is still under investigation. He was 43.
To help off-set some of the family’s costs, Jose is generously auctioning off one of his gloves worn in last week’s nationally televised Rarmirez-Orozco title bout along with an autographed action photo and a meet & greet.
All proceeds will go to the Gladding family in full. Ramirez will sign the glove and personally award it to the auction winner Friday at 4:30pm at The Fresno Coin Gallery at Blackstone & Gettysburg.
Local NBA star Quincy Pondexter has already pledged $2,500 to start the bidding!
