FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – After a long term investigation, a grand jury indictment comes for members of a Fresno area street gang.
In a press conference on Thursday afternoon, Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer described violent criminal acts allegedly committed by the suspects:
“Kidnap, rape, robbery, home invasion robbery, assault with a deadly weapon as well as a variety of other crimes – and this indictment as well as the subsequent arrest involves the notorious Fresneck gang members, which is a gang that often times operates secretly behind the scenes,” said Chief Dyer.
30 gang members and associates were arrested.
On Friday, May 18th, nine were indicted and face federal charges.
