FRESNO (KMJ) — A Fresno man has been arrested for possession of marijuana for sale, after he was originally caught jaywalking in Southeast Fresno.

It comes as Fresno Police are trying to bring down the number of vehicle versus pedestrian incidents.

“We have been targeting pedestrians in our Downtown area and in our high-traffic areas out in our neighborhoods trying to curtail the pedestrians in our roadway,” explained Lieutenant David Ramsey.
