FRESNO (KMJ) — The search is on for a man seen on security camera taking a package from outside a Fresno home.

The theft took place at around 2.30pm on December 15th. The footage shows the suspect striding up to the door of the home close to Fowler and Shields, grabbing an item on the doorstep, and driving away.

“I think when we get good video we want to get these thieves arrested,” explained Lieutenant Mark Hudson.

“So we’re asking for the public’s help in getting him identified. This is a trend that occurs during this time of year, so anytime we get video or a description of suspects we want to get them out.”

There is also evidence to suggest this suspect has committed the same crime in other areas.

“Although this is the first time that we’ve had video of this person, I’m sure this isn’t the first time he’s done this,” added Lieutenant Hudson.

The suspect is described as a 30 year old Hispanic male, driving a black Volkswagen sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to contact either Fresno Police or Valley Crime Stoppers on 888-498-STOP.
