FRESNO, CA (KMJj- Fresno County Sheriff’s Detectives investigating the 5th homicide of the year in Orange Cove.
Just after 1:30 pm on Wednesday, December 6th, a call came in of shots fired.
The apparent crime occurring on ‘H’ Street between Anchor and Cove.
Sheriff’s Spokesperson Tony Botti says Orange Cove PD found a man lying on the sidewalk who was injured, took a closer look, and found that he was deceased. “We believe we know who the victim is – a Hispanic man around 40 years-old.”
Botti says investigators are trying to nail down what actually happened. and find out how many suspects were involved because witness reports vary, some say a car was fleeing the area, others say someone left on foot.
