FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – The Fresno County District Attorney has filed murder, attempted murder and other charges against Kori Muhammad, who allegedly went on a shooting spree in Downtown Fresno on April 18th.
Here’s the additional charges Muhammad faces, filed on Wednesday.
1.) Murder of Zackary Randalls
2.) Murder of Mark Gassett
3.) Murder of David Jackson
4.) Attempted Murder of Stephen Walter
5.) Shooting at an Occupied Motor Vehicle
6.) Attempted Murder of Michael Flores
7.) Attempted Murder of Mark Greer
8.) Possession of Firearm by a Felon
The murder counts also include two special circumstances
1. The victims were killed by Mr. Muhammad because of their race
2. Mr. Muhammad committed multiple murders
Last week, Muhammad was charged in the shooting death of a security guard at a Motel 6.
1.) Murder of Carl Williams
2.) Attempted Murder of Oscar Menjivar
If convicted of the charges, Mr. Muhammad faces a sentence of either death or life in prison. Muhammad is set to be arraigned on these charges Thursday morning.
