(KMJ) – The rain has helped with California’s drought and filled up some major reservoirs. The San Luis reservoir, between Los Banos and Gilroy, is now at 80% capacity. Last January, the reservoir was at just 22% capacity.
It’s great news, as the San Luis Reservoir is a key storage point for farms in the San Joaquin Valley.
Folsom Lake and Shasta Lake – the state’s largest reservoir – have also drastically been re-filled, to 80% capacity
