Pepperdine University: Majority of Small Business Owners Stressed by the Election

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — More than 75 percent of American small business owners are concerned, about the impact this election may have on their companies.

According to a new Pepperdine University survey, 66 percent believe Republican candidate Donald Trump will be more supportive on tax issues, with a slightly smaller percentage saying he’d be better when it comes to regulations.

When it comes to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, 59 percent say Clinton will be more supportive of equal pay for men and women, and 58 percent believe she’ll be a greater advocate of paid family leave.
