FRESNO (KMJ) — You’ve got less than two weeks until the voter registration deadline on October 24th if you’d like to have your say in the general election.
The upcoming vote asks for the electorate’s word on not only those vying to be the next President of the United States, but a whole host of other decisions too.
“All of these decisions affecting your life are made by government and so you should have a voice in how these people are elected and who you want to represent you”, says Fresno County’s Registrar of Voters Brandi Orth.
Depending on where you are the ballot could include candidates for Mayor, the City Council, the Board of Supervisors, and of course there are a number of propositions as well.
Registration can be done in person, online, or by mail. Online registration can be done clicking here.
To register in person you should visit your local election office to fill out the form. To register by mail, you need to call your county elections office to request a form sent to you.
