FRESNO (KMJ) – The Dress for Success non-profit helps disadvantaged women entering the work force by giving them suits and other business attire.

The nearest locations were Bakersfield and Sacramento, and now Fresno.

Erin Goldfarb was the co-founder who saw the need in the Valley.

Goldfarb says the organization works with Marjaree Mason, The Salvation Army and other agencies that assist women who are trying to get back in the working world and once a woman has secured a job interview that’s when they step in to help.

“We provide them with a free business suit, along with the appropriate accessories, necklace, jewelry and when they land the job the woman comes back to Dress for Success for a week’s worth of mix and match professional clothing to start her out in the new job.” Co-Founder Erin Goldfarb.

“Profession women donate their clothing, they are housed in a boutique – kinda like a dream closet, kinda like a retail store with no price tags.” – Erin Goldfarb, Co-Founder Fresno Dress For Success.

They are accepting donations of clean, professional clothing.
