FRENSO (KMJ) — Fresno Police are investigating the city’s latest homicide.

Detectives tell KMJ News that a Hispanic man in his 20’s was found badly beaten outside of an auto parts store, close to the intersection of Butler and Orange early Wednesday morning.

“Significant upper body trauma, head trauma, life threatening trauma”, says Lieutenant Joe Gomez.

“Officers started CPR on him. He was laying up on a cement slap right in front of the auto parts store. Looks like he’s been beaten severely, possibly other things too, but we don’t know at this time.

“But certainly beaten”.

The victim was later pronounced dead at CRMC.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 888-498-STOP.
