FRESNO (KMJ) — Three juveniles are now behind bars after allegedly breaking into a Central Unified School District office, with a soil-compactor tractor.
The incident took place Sunday night at around 10.30pm. Fresno Police Officers say they located the trio of suspects as they were taking sodas and portable radios. The suspects initially attempted to run from the scene, as a security alarm was blaring from within the office.
The soil-compactor tractor was also determined to be stolen from a nearby construction site. All items taken from the office were recovered, and those allegedly responsible were identified as runaways from a nearby group home.
They’re now in Fresno County Juvenile Hall on charges including commercial burglary and felony vandalism. Due to their age, their identities are not being released.
