(KMJ) – Wednesday night, Fresno Police were called to the Burger King at 3482 West Shaw for reports of a domestic disturbance.
When they arrived, they learned 35-year old Marcos Escutia had just left the business after he threatened to shoot his wife while they were there. Officers say they found Escutia walking away from the business with a female a few minutes later.
He was detained and found to be on Post Release Community Supervision for possession of narcotics while in prison. Escutia had been staying in a nearby hotel room and a probation search led to the discovery of a stolen .38 caliber revolver in his duffle bag.
Escutia, who is an admitted member of a Sanger Street Gang, was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, and domestic battery charges.
