FRESNO, CA (KMJ) Arson investigators have identified the man they believe to be responsible for a fire at a local auto dealer last weekend.
The blaze broke out at the dealership at Cesar Chavez Blvd. and Van Ness Ave. last Saturday.
On Tuesday evening, Fresno PD arrested Steven Reinhart. He’s facing 7 felony counts of arson and is behind bars at the Fresno County Jail with bail set at $290,000.

In a release Fresno Fire Chief, Billy Alcorn, stated “Anyone setting intentional fires in our community will be investigated, arrested, and prosecuted. Our firefighters work incredibly hard to respond to numerous emergency service calls each day and intentionally set fires have the potential of delaying their responses to those true emergencies within our community. These acts will not be tolerated”.
No motive for the arson attack has been released.
Listen to the report by KMJ’s Liz Kern.
