PIXLEY, CA (KMJ) Two motorcyclists were killed overnight in Pixley in what investigators say may have been a case of “chicken” gone horribly wrong.
The CHP says they received a report of an injury crash on Market Street, south of Court Ave. around 12:30am Friday.
Two adult males were lying in the roadway. The preliminary investigation indicates the two men were riding off-road bikes toward each other and collided head-on.
Neither were wearing helmets. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Alcohol is suspected to have contributed to the cause of the deadly incident.
